Updated: May 19
I've been having lots of conversations with moms who are preparing for their summer holidays.
They are worried about not having the time to keep up with their exercises and losing their progress.
Everyone wants to know how to fit their workouts in over the summer while running around after small people all day.
On the other side of the coin there is the "I don't have time" excuse to starting to exercise.
I get it, it can feel like another thing on your never ending to do list, but if I'm are really honest with myself, doing some sort of intentional movement with my body usually leaves me feeling better.
Most of the moms I work with tell me the same thing.
Let's get rid of the lack of time as an excuse and dive into some practical ways for making exercise happen in your busy day to day life. These tips work for every time of year, so check out the video.
My top tips are:
1.Change your definition and expectations of a workout
2. Workout clothes optional
3. Focus on strength training
4. Have a plan before you start
5. Schedule your exercise time.
Watch the video for how to make the most of each tip.
It is do-able if you decide it's important to you.
Let's get moving.
